NITRODOSE® and EasyDose™ liquid nitrogen dosers
Vacuum Barrier injection systems deliver a dose of low-pressure liquid nitrogen into each container. Nitrogen adds rigidity to containers of still beverages and displaces oxygen from the headspace, extending product shelf life.
Which technologies do the dosers use?
- CIP protection. During CIP (Clean in Place), an automatic nozzle shields the dosing head from moisture and prevents freeze-ups. The nozzle withstands high-pressure wash-down and aggressive chemicals. Optional for EasyDose and NITRODOSE, standard on HS Aseptic.
- 3-D Technology (Directional Dose Dispersion). For containers with shallow headspace — lightweight bottles and hot fill. Eliminates splash and holds target pressure within ±1% psi, including during sharp line acceleration and deceleration.
- Servodoser®. The NITRODOSE G3 Servodoser adjusts flow during discrete and continuous dosing without a nozzle change. Accuracy — ±1% of dose weight.
- Self-monitoring. NITRODOSE G3, G3 Pro and HS Aseptic continuously monitor operation, with alarm outputs and a beacon.
- Controls. Siemens S7-1200 or Allen Bradley ML1100 PLC, 4″ or 6″ touchscreen depending on the model.
How is nitrogen supplied?
From a portable dewar, an outdoor bulk tank or an existing piping system. Application modes: pressurisation, nitrogenation, pre-purge inerting before filling and headspace inerting after filling.
