NITRODOSE® dosers pressurise thin-wall containers to make them rigid, or inert packaged products by reducing oxygen in the headspace. They are used for water, juices, juice drinks and concentrates, tea, milk and yoghurt, snacks. Dosing works for cold and hot filling; in hot fill, nitrogen pressure prevents container deformation as the product cools.
Beer · Wine · CoffeeIn beer and wine, a dose of liquid nitrogen displaces oxygen from the headspace before capping, so taste, aroma and colour are retained longer. The same technology is used for nitrogenation of beer and coffee.
Oils · PouchNITRODOSE® dosers dose nitrogen into the headspace of edible oil bottles and filled pouches: the container gains the required rigidity and residual oxygen is reduced.
Biotech · LaboratoriesSEMIFLEX® vacuum-jacketed piping and phase separators supply low-pressure liquid nitrogen from an outdoor tank to the points of use. The NITROMATIC station fills dewars automatically from the pipeline or tank.
